Daniel Bidegaray

Daniel Bidegaray was born and raised on a farm and ranch in eastern Montana which he continues to operate. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Montana State University in Bozeman and his law degree from the University of Montana in Missoula. Daniel is licensed to practice law in Montana, North Dakota, the United States District Courts of Montana and Colorado, the Ninth Circuit Court, and the Fort Peck Tribal Court.  The nationally renowned publication, Martindale-Hubbell, has rated Daniel as “AV” – the highest rating possible for excellence of practice and ethical standards.  Daniel has also been selected to the 2017 Mountain States Super Lawyers list which is limited to the top five percent of attorneys in the northwest of the United States. Daniel is a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice, a member of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, and a 2004 graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College Association.

Daniel’s work ethic is important to the success of Bidegaray Law Firm.  Daniel saw firsthand, the struggles of hard working people and families growing up on a farm and ranch in eastern Montana.  His parents immigrated to eastern Montana from southern France, starting with nothing except a strong work ethic.  They raised their family on the farm and ranch and educated Daniel and his sisters to have advanced degrees.  His father had only an eighth grade education because southern France was in a deep recession and he needed to work to provide for his family.  Daniel’s parents instilled in him and his siblings the importance of education and hard work.  This work ethic has translated into substantial results for his clients.

Daniel is the proud parent of three sons who are active in the school and sports. They enjoy hiking, skiing and participating in many other outdoor activities. Daniel enjoys hiking, cycling and all the other outdoor activities that Bozeman has to offer. Daniel is a first generation American and is proud of his Basque heritage.
